Add me to the list of exceedingly disappointed B&N.com customers - due to the extra-ordinary ineptness of the infamous ARGIX DIRECT. I ordered a book on the evening of Oct-25, 2010 and paid a shipping premium to have it delivered in 1 to 3 business days. Today is Nov-3 and it still has not arrived. It is MIA. I was really upset w/ B&N handling of my complaint. All they offered me was to refund my money. Why couldn't they have offered to have the book shipped to a local store of my convenience where I am sure delivery is much more reliable? I am still dumbfounded that they allow this to happen so often to so many people. What is wrong w/ that company? Maybe Amazon has some mole instead ARGIX misdirecting shipments. I don't know. But it's pretty amazing that they can't get right something as simple as shipping a darn book from one continental state to another. Boggles the mind.

Like you, I had one package "lost in the mail" and had to have a replacement shipped - again, they used ARGIX. And, AGAIN, it's now lost in the mail and I'm about to call and ask for a refund. Does B&N know how much business they're losing as a result of this? I don't want to order from them anymore b/c I'm sick of wasting a month crossing my fingers that one out of x replacement packages will arrive. Sad.

Thank you. I've had the exact same immensely frustrating experiences with Barnes & Noble and Argix Direct. To heck with 'em both.
