It’s said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, when you are constantly on the go, sometimes it’s easy to either (a) grab something quick that might not be so healthy or (b) skip. I have been guilty of both on more than one occasion and, looking back, there were times I can see how that set the tone of my day. Going forward, I’m starting to make a more conscious decision to introduce more healthy choices and, like I talked about last month, prunes have not only some great benefits but have a fantastic taste that holds up in both sweet and savory recipes or are great on their own.
During the morning chaos, I love the convenience of these Sunsweet Plum Amazin Bars that are unlike some other breakfast bars that I have had in the past – they are so full of flavor and don’t taste like cardboard (c’mon – you know you have all tried one that has been guilty of that, right?).
