You ever have a song that sticks in your head and you can’t stop singing it for anything – even if you are royally sick of the song?
That’s my issue with anything that I hear on the radio, esp. that song “Call Me Maybe”. It was cute for a few hot minutes and then, for the love of all things holy, I tried like all heck to avoid that song, much like I do when hear a few other artists (that will go unmentioned, of course.)
There is ONE parody of that dreaded song that I absolutely adore and, like a plate of virtual cookies and skim milk, I’ve decided to share with y’all – namely Sesame Street’s favorite foodie, the Cookie Monster, and his new song “Share It Maybe”. Take a moment, watch and smile. I mean, how can you not – it’s Cookie Monster, right? And then sing “Share It Maybe” all day…

I love Cookie Monster (I just want to bring him home and take care of him) and his version of the song is so much better than the original.
