Cooking In Stilettos Passes The Three Year Mark

Remember the scene in “Sixteen Candles” where Molly Ringwald’s family forgot her birthday in all the flurry of her sister’s wedding. Well, guess what I did to Cooking In Stilettos. March 6 came and went and I totally spaced. Hopefully, the blog will forgive me – perhaps if I buy it a little somethin’ somethin’ like a spiffy new logo or design, it might ease the pain?

OK – I digress but seriously, sometimes I can’t believe how long Cooking In Stilettos has been around. It started as a little blog (on Blogger) on March 6, 2008 to document my passion with all things cooking, entertaining and, of course, shoes. Over the years, it’s grown by leaps and bounds and I sometimes have to pinch myself at the opportunities that I have had, the people (and chefs) I have met and the cooking skills I have acquired. There have been highs and lows, a multi-state move, the move to WordPress (Hello Coffee & Cocktails, it’s me, Aly!), the addition of the Sous Pug to the menagerie and amazing amazing people I have met both online and in person along the way. Know that I am grateful for EACH and EVERY one of you that has dropped by my culinary home on the web and I look forward to celebrating many more Blogaversaries with y’all.

There is so much in store for the little blog that could.  Now, let’s hope next year I don’t “Sixteen Candle” my blogiversary and forget the date again or Cooking In Stilettos might whip out the Loubous.
