Melissa d’Arabian To Bring Ten Dollar Dinners to Philly

Cookbook season has arrived my friends and, according to some sources, there are going to be a plethora of book signings in the next few months from various celebrity chefs, authors and food bloggers. Some I can’t divulge JUST yet, but the minute I get the a-ok with confirmations, you know I’ll give you the scoop.

I was thrilled to hear that Food Network’s Melissa d’Arabian is scheduled to visit Philly this Thursday, August 16th to sign copies of her first cookbook, Ten Dollar Dinners: 140 Recipes & Tips to Elevate Simple, Fresh Meals Any Night of the Week, at the Williams Sonoma in King of Prussia. The book signing kicks off at noon and, from what I’m hearing, will be quite the event.

I’ve made some of Melissa’s recipes and I’m lucky if there are leftovers for lunch the next day – they are THAT good. Seriously, Melissa has some fabulous tips and tricks for maximizing that grocery dollar and, for a gal with a serious shoe habit, every penny saved helps towards building up the stiletto arsenal. She’s got an extensive book tour scheduled so, if you are not in the Philly area, there’s still a chance you can see her in your area.
