Ahhhh – it’s August already. Pretty soon it will be fall wardrobe shopping, pumpkin everything, #WaffleWeek and more. However, until then, let’s enjoy the summer and what’s left of it, shall we?
I have something to share – I have launched a second site devoted to my love of Polynesian cooking called Aloha Flavor. Aloha Flavor has been in the works for some time, but after many long talks with some amazingly supportive friends, I decided that it was time that my Polynesian inspired recipes go to a site of their very own. When it comes to Cooking in Stilettos, I put my stiletto down and had a long come to Jesus with myself as I let the schedule get a bit lax and, for that, I apologize. So – going forward, there will be a bit more structure when it comes to my schedule here. I plan to post 2 – 3 recipes here every week along with a bi-weekly Fab Friday and a few other fun things I have planned for you. Over at Aloha Flavor, you will find delicious new recipes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so it’s on the calendar.
So that’s my scoop. Shopping wise, I have to confess, I have been so tied up with everything that I haven’t had much time to do much shopping, either in person or virtual. I know – I’m as shocked as some of you are. If my BFF Meowmix heard this, she’d smack me upside the head, hide my Choos and tell me to get to King of Prussia Mall stat! So – this weekend, I hope to get some visitation time with my favorite marble island, perhaps mull the aisles of Williams Sonoma and Christian Louboutin has some new stilettos at Neimans that need some “perusing.”
