I don't know about you, but I am ready to start a countdown for Spring's arrival. I mean, I love the winter and breaking out the slow cooker, but, quite frankly, this winter has been *ahem* interesting. 2013 is off to a roaring start and it's only January 4th. I have a good feeling about this year. One thing I don't have a good feelin' about is the flu season and I'm trying to outrun the Sniffle Monster before I get caught up in its vice grip. Sephora has their VIB sale, Saks had their Friends and Family sale last month and that other shopping mainstay from my youth, Bloomingdales, has their Friends and Family sale that is through the 12th of November. Ever since I was young, Saks was one of those stores that I adored shopping in and my first ever Saks visit was the Saks on Fifth Avenue. What a memory that was – the heavy doors, the chic employees and customers milling about and that memory always stayed with me. According to weather predictions, a major chill is supposed to hit Philly this weekend and it's going to be a bit frosty – well, until Sunday when its supposed to hit 70°.
