There have been so many deadlines going on this past week that I finally had a minute to peruse some of my favorite blogs and check out what’s going on around the interwebs. While reading, it dawned on me that I haven’t been a good host and shared some of these delicious gems so here are a few links to get you inspired to get in the kitchen, get reading or just enjoy the day to day!
Barb from Creative Culinary made a Blue Hawaii Cocktail that is beyond gorgeous – seriously, go to her site and look at that photography. When it comes to cocktails, Barb is the go to gal. I love her Friday cocktail posts – it’s a must read every week.
Last year, I took a class with Marisa from Food In Jars on canning and can I say it really changed my outlook on making jam. I wasn’t so afraid of the water bath canner as I was prior and she’s always got awesome tips on preservation. Check out her 7 Tips To Make Sure Your Jam Sets Up at The Kitchn.
Lana at Never Enough Thyme has a scrumptious Cannellini Bean and Tuna Salad that is begging to be made during these summer months. She has some great tips as well and I think, after reading her post, any water packed tuna is going to the Evil Minx. We’ll get the olive oil packed from now on.
This story made me get a bit teary – Zainab from Blahnik Baker shares her story on how her blog came to be known as Blahnik Baker. If the shoes & stories of true friendship don’t get you all sniffly, well – what about these S’mores Macarons?
Major Kudos to Susan from The Girl In The Little Red Kitchen for her divine looking Caprese Tart with Olive Oil Crust.
