Easy Turkey Chili Recipe

This easy Turkey Chili recipe is a tried and true family favorite. Lean ground turkey breast is simmered with spices and white beans along with some fire roasted corn for a delicious white turkey chili, perfect for chilly evenings.

There is nothing more comforting than a big bowl of chili – especially in the winter. Chili is often a favorite go-to recipe and depending on your mood, you can whip up a Baja Chicken Chili, my favorite Cornbread Topped Chili or even an easy Italian Sausage chili. I tend to be more of a traditionalist when it comes to the holidays. That means turkey for Thanksgiving, either ham or turkey for Christmas and definitely ham on Easter. However, after the nightmare of the Ham Burn of Christmas Long Ago, I’m sure you can understand why I tend to be a bit gun shy.

For Easter, I wanted to mix two of my favorite flavors – bourbon and cider – for a glaze that really would kick the ham into high gear. And, an added bonus is with a fully cooked ham, there would be no boiling, no drama and definitely none of those “what is in those” packets to glaze the ham.

Growing up, if you had told me that I would become a fan of carrots and channel my inner Bugs Bunny, I probably would have laughed and told you that you were beyond crazy. Carrots and I are definitely not mixy things – or so I thought until an Easter holiday.
