These Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs are ready in a flash – a few pantry ingredients and Farm Rich Meatballs simmer in the slow cooker for a party favorite!
I am a huge fan of entertaining made easy and this holiday season, one of my entertaining BFFs is Farm Rich Snacks. Whether it’s whipping up some tasty snacks while watching the World Series, a last minute get together with friends or a holiday soiree, Farm Rich delivers quality in an instant.
One of the lessons I learned early on with entertaining is that sometimes you can’t do everything. Sure, I’d love to hand bread mozzarella sticks but my schedule reminds me that time might not be an option. I often keep Farm Rich Snacks in my freezer for last minute entertaining and their frozen meatballs are always a hit especially when I whip up these Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs. A few pantry ingredients and the slow cooker does all of the work.
I headed to my local Walmart to pick up some Farm Rich favorites. I knew that the meatballs were a must as I had guests that were gluten free and these meatballs not only are gluten free but are packed with protein. Their Breaded Mushrooms and Mozzarella Sticks are also a favorite here in Philadelphia. When it comes to appetizers, I always like to make sure that I have some on the menu that I know will go fast (and have extra in the freezer or slow cooker for reinforcements).
These Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs are sweet, spicy and savory and I promise they will disappear quickly. Much like the style of those classic southern grape jelly meatballs, I whisked up a flavorful sauce with pineapple jam, hoisin sauce and a bit of heat from chili garlic sauce and fresh ginger. The sauce was ready in 5 minutes tops and poured over the meatballs and the slow cooker had them ready in no time. If you don’t have a slow cooker, you can bake off the meatballs in the oven and glaze them the last 5 minutes – easy peasy! It is a classic set it and forget it recipe.
To go with, I love Farm Rich’s Breaded Mozzarella Sticks and Breaded Mushrooms, both of which I serve with an easy 15 minute homemade marinara sauce that is ready in a flash. If I know that friends are coming over, thanks to Farm Rich, I am ready to channel my inner hostess!
When you need appetizers that will thrill a crowd, pick up these Farm Rich Favorites and make these scrumptious Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs – your guests will have no idea that it was just #20MinutesToTasty
